The meteorite was originally found in June 1967 along the dry bed of the Hekandue River, near the settlement of Seymchan in Magadan district, Russia. 

This particular, stabilized, sample contains a beautiful honeycomb of olivine crystals that were formed in space.

This specimen has been plastic coated to prevent rust or any deterioration, and weighs (with the coating) ~3.5g. It measures ~2" long.

It has been backlit to show the clarity and quality of the crystals.
