Gibeon Meteorites
These are real fragments of Gibeon meteorite!
The meteorite was originally found by the Nama People of Namibia, who used them to craft incredibly durable tools and weapons. In 1863, an English captain sent some specimens home and they were identified as meteorites.
Between 1911-1913, a few hundred kilograms were collected in the vicinity of Gibeon, and the meteorites were thus named.
Safely secured in 1 1/8" diameter gem jars, these would be a fantastic addition to any collection or would make a perfect gift.
