This mesmerizing specimen is a real preserved, megabat that has been chemically transformed using a process called diaphonization! The skin and muscles are largely translucent, and dyes help reveal what lays beneath!
This bat was a zoo mortality and still retains its microchip and leg-band. Unfortunately we no longer have the species data available, as this piece cycled it's way back to us after several years.
This wet specimen is an incredible piece of anatomical reference and the jar measures ~6.75" tall.
This item was prepared in-house at SkullStore by Dan Malette of Stained Remains and, due to the lack of species data, CANNOT BE SHIPPED OUTSIDE OF CANADA!
Please note: Postal regulations prohibit us shipping the jars full of glycerin. The buyer will have to refill the jar upon arrival. Glycerin is available at all major pharmacies.
