This is a real, incredible, ~3" long Reedops trilobite from the Upper Silurian Period to the Lower Devonian of Alnif, Morocco (419-403 million years ago)!
It has amazing detail and would make a fantastic addition or start to any fossil collection. One eye is exquisitely preserved!
Resembling horseshoe crabs, trilobites are an extinct group of arthropods that died off in the Permian mass extinction ~252 million years ago.
They were one of the most successful and iconic of all early animals - spreading across most of the globe and surviving for an incredible 270 million years!
