Authentic Mesopotamian demon capturing bowl for sale!
Dating back between the 4-8th century CE, this incredible artifact would have been buried under floorboards or placed in a doorway to protect the household from evil spirits and their nefarious intent.
The writing is a pseudo-Aramaic incantation, circling down into the bottom of the bowl - where the dark spirit would be safely trapped for all eternity, keeping the owners safe from untimely misfortune and ailments.
This bowl measures ~6" diameter and was sourced from a 1970-80s European collection. It can be shipped worldwide.
