This amazing ~6.75" tall piece of prehistoric seabed was carved down to reveal 2 fossil trilobites hidden within, creating a beautiful and museum-quality display piece.

Resembling horseshoe crabs, trilobites are an extinct group of arthropods that died off in the Permian mass extinction ~252 million years ago. 

They were one of the most successful and iconic of all early animals - spreading across most of the globe and surviving for an incredible 270 million years!
