Raptorex Kriegsteini Dinosaur Skull (CAST)
This is a museum-quality cast of a Raptorex kriegsteini skull - a (relatively) newly discovered genus of tyrannosaur.
Raptorex was initially described in 2009 from a single known specimen, dating back to the Early Cretaceous of Inner Mongolia. Raptorex stood about 8 feet long, making it approximately 1/40th the size of a full-grown T. rex. Although significantly smaller than its iconic cousin T. rex, Raptorex had a similar overall body structure - a large head, tiny arms, and large feet.
This is a museum quality cast replica made with a durable polyurethane resin. It was molded directly from the original restored skull and is NOT a 3D printed skull or a sculpture. The resin cast is made on demand and is produced using methods that preserve all of the fine details found in the original specimen.
This is a rare opportunity to privately own a museum-grade specimen! The skull itself measures 13” x 4.5” x 9” as displayed with mouth open, not including the display stand.
Worldwide shipping is available and the skull is currently located in the United States. Please note: shipping costs will potentially exceed website estimate. Can be sent at buyer's freight preferences, or FedEx by default.
**PLEASE NOTE: These skulls are cast and painted at the time of order. Please allow 1-2 weeks of preparation time to ensure you receive the highest quality possible.**
