This is a REAL Shrunken head, crafted by the Shuar peoples of Ecuador!

Traditionally this process was performed exclusively on slain warriors but, as the demand for these products grew with traders, they began to prepare them for the tourist trade. The fact that this was made from the flesh of a child is a clear indicator that this piece was made for export, most likely around the 1940s.
